David Servillo serves as the Artistic Director for The Foundling’s Theatre Company. He hails from Evanston, Illinois and earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Columbia College. As an actor he has performed with Emma with New Suit Theatre Company, Richard III with Wayward Productions, and The Odd Couple with Old World Theater Company as well as countless others. He has also served as director of The Foundling’s Season One production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. He has been working as an actor and combatant in Chicago for three years.
Currently leading the Artistic Team, David manages the Foundling’s Main Stage Series, No Sleep Shakespeare Festival, and serves as the leader of The Foundling’s Ensemble.
He is proud to present our next season under the theme of “New Voices in Theatre” focusing on creating and producing new works from Chicago-based playwrights.
