Robert Francis Curtis
Robert Francis Curtis serves as the resident playwright for The Foundling’s Theatre Company. He hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and earned his B.A. in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing from Columbia College. His written works include A Brief Look at the After Glow (2010), Bright Light America or The Pull-Out Play (2011), Dial with a Smile: An Office Musical (2012), Windblown Wail (2012), and Lay Thee Down, Poseidon (2013). He has also served as director for the debut production of The Foundlings, Windblown Wail, and as Assistant Director for William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
Currently working in the company Literary Department, Robert co-manages The Orphanarium Reading Series, No Sleep Shakespeare Festival, and “It’s a Foundling’s Christmas, Chicago Brown.”
His play A Brief Look at the After Glow shall serve as The Foundling’s Theatre Company’s opening production in Season Two.
